Open Senses Symposium                    FRIDAY 19TH may

The Open Senses Symposium presses "pause" on the ever growing and diverse multi-sensory scene. And is asking international sensory practitioners spanning law, art, neurology, gastroenterology, therapy one question - Why now? Why are audiences, restaurants, and creative practitioners interested in sensory practice? How does the 'trend' of multi-sensory practice demonstrate where our digital practice, musicians, designers and audiences are at - and most importantly, where do we need to head next to stay relevant? And how can we use the science behind the senses to extend immersion?

MORE ABOUT OPEN SENSES

Open Senses is a festival for every woman, man and child to hear, see, feel and experience. It is the first festival of its kind.

Open Senses positions London as the world-leading centre of excellence in sensory practice. We are inviting and talking to all Londoners, as well as each and every tourist and visitor, to freely come and open their noses, tastebuds, and skin to the world; to notice and savour the natural, physical environment around them.

Sensory practice not only encourages accessibility and inclusivity, but champions communication free of prejudice as it's not dependent on language. Sensory practice builds deep connections between people and their environments. Open Senses will showcase sensory practice as a powerful tool to evoke true human emotion and create warm, lasting memories.

Join us in London the weekend of 19-21 May 2017 for Open Senses Festival.
